NanoQuébec’s funding programs are aimed at promoting the advancement of science and technology and increasing Quebec’s industrial competitiveness in nanotechnology. The programs support research partnerships between universities and university/industry collaborations. NQ funding also helps the province retain 142 qualified individuals who are indispensable for the proper operation of Quebec’s research infrastructure.

NanoQuébec’s financial support aims to:

• Strengthen ties between academia and industry in order to meet new technological challenges
• Develop innovations and while maintaining a significant level of industrial involvement
• Improve the competitiveness of Quebec companies through applied nanotechnology
• Contribute to growth in the number of highly qualified individuals in advanced fields
